This is a really important question. Should I wait or by now? No one can predict the future that is for sure and with that being said the best time to buy is always right now. Yes interest rates may be through the roof and yes prices may be very expensive but at the end of the day you will be a homeowner and that cannot be taken away from you(if you do not make your payments that is another thing).
Knowing this my advice is to be prepared, make sure that you have your finances in order. Do your homework, do not overspend and be smart with your payments. Work with a mortgage broker and explain to them what you would like to pay monthly and if there are ways to get there.
What are your options of repayment?
10, 15, 20, 30 or even 40 year mortgages. Interest only(I do not suggest this), variable and of course fixed.
My job as the realtor is to get you into a home where you want to be, in a neighborhood where you'd like to live in and see yourself raising your family
Take time to really understand what you're getting yourself into and then go full force into becoming a homeowner. I am going to include homeowners checklist of what you should not do when you're in the process of buying a home. All the best and have a great day.
